When the builders of Calvary Bible Church first conceived of, and sacrificially gave to
build this facility, they could not have known the type of ministry that we would be
doing in it in 2007. Over the years, we have unbolted all the furniture, refurbished just
about every room in the church, and attempted to make this facility as user friendly,
inviting, and flexible as possible. We have done well. However, there is still much to do and to improve. That is why we are so excited about our ‘Home Base’ renovations and building project. As this generation of Calvary attendees makes their sacrifice, we anticipate the following:

• More than doubling the size of our facility by adding almost 9,000 sq. ft. to our
  existing 8,000 square foot facility.
  
• Inside that facility we will be able to offer:
  • Spacious and beautiful new entry points and foyers,
  • Handicapped accessibility to our facility, to our new upstairs bathrooms, and to our new elevator,
  • A working kitchen upstairs as connected to our newly refurbished and very comfortable gathering room (lobby) and café,
  • A new 250 seat, state-of-the-art sanctuary that doubles as a gymnasium for Awana programs, Teen ministries, and various adult/sports fellowships,
  • New handicapped accessible bathrooms and shower facilities downstairs,
  • Seven (new and renovated) multi-purpose, kid-friendly classrooms and nurseries,
  • Three cozy adult/group meeting rooms for use throughout the week.
    
• By the purchase of the 721 9th street property and house, we will have a 1,200
  square foot office facility
  
• With that purchase our property will allow for the following exterior changes:
  • We will have a new semi-paved parking lot that parks 50 cars,
  • Both buildings will get a new and improved exterior face-lift!,
  • New landscaping, fencing, and lighting around our facilities,
  • Handicapped ramps, paved walkways, new signage, and beautiful new entry points to our church and office facilities!
• We believe that our new “Home Base” is going to be an attractive, effective place for both seekers and believers to come and meet with Jesus!
